Assassin's Secondary profession?
I'm thinking of making an Assassin for PvP. Which secondary profession should I choose?

Up to you, if you're gonna do random arenas get a class that allows you to keep yourself alive.
If you're doing high-end pvp focus on dazing, ench removal or high dps. You don't need a secondary profession then because assassin skills have all you need, even though the popular boa sins take warrior secondary for burst of agression. |

Why aren't assassins reguarly used in PvP? From what I can see, Aura of Displacement can place you right next to an enemy monk, you can then kill them in only a few seconds with a good skill chain and then you can retreat by cutting the Aura?
[skill]Aura of Displacement[/skill] Anyways. Any more suggestions for a secondary profession? |

this has to be the most frequently asked question in guild wars and im sure you have heard this answer before...
choose your secondary profession based on what your build needs! there is no "best" second profession. |

Warrior for Burst of Agression.
Every sin is a SP/BoA sin, but that's just because it's the most effective build. |

That isn't a bad starter build. You may wish to consider swapping out Desperate Strike for Golden Lotus Strike though - it'll help give you an energy recharge,

No need to have 3 lead attacks and two offhands. For sins, the real power comes from duals. Focus a build around getting off your dual quickly. Try to not have more than 4 attack skills, at most 5. Use the rest for movement, defense, and heal.

I really like this build:
[skill]Conjure Frost[/skill][skill]Leaping Mantis Sting[/skill][skill]Exhausting Assault[/skill][skill]Moebius Strike[/skill][skill]Death Blossom[/skill][skill]Feigned Neutrality[/skill][skill]Dash[/skill][skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill] It has the most pressure from any assassin build I have seen and cape totally face wipe monks and casters.
